An important step for the Albanian medical community in the United States of America was marked this week with the official founding of the U.S. branch of the Albanian Medical Federation in Europe – AMFE-USA. The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the historic cultural-patriotic association “Vatra” in New York, which welcomed the event with honor and full support.
On behalf of “Vatra,” Mr. Marjan Cubi and Mr. Sokol Paja congratulated the creation of the new branch and expressed their unwavering support for the professional and patriotic mission of AMFE-USA.

The President of the Albanian Medical Federation in Europe, Dr. Aurora Dollenberg, welcomed the establishment of AMFE-USA and congratulated the newly elected leadership for launching work of great professional, scientific, and national value.
Within the framework of the 25th International Conference on “Sepsis and Life-Threatening Infections,” organized in collaboration with the sister association Albanian American Medical Society, Inc., AMFE-USA contributed significantly through scientific presentations and awareness activities aimed at preventing infections and raising consciousness against antibiotic misuse in the Albanian community.
